Liturgical & sacred Art
When designing and painting for Liturgical or Sacred spaces, my intent is to be part of the process that will “unite the place of worship with the actions of worship,” (Built of Living Stones, 149) and to extend an “invitation to wonder, and an invitation to believe” by creating the “welcoming presence of beauty,” (Nancy Chinn).
Most of my liturgical work is done by commission. They are hangings, banners, works on board, canvas, or fabric. I work primarily using acrylic paint and paper collage.
